I keep a growing mailing list of ukulele students, peers, and others who are hugely interested in the instrument and everything about playing music together. However, I’m never sure that my emails actually reach those on my mailing list because sometimes Google Groups hangs up on me. So here goes the latest.

The warm weather has arrived. It’s time to take your ukulele outdoors! —- or join me in the White Mountains this July!
No matter what level you are, nothing beats playing songs that the audience can’t resist chiming in. I invite you to join us outdoors in Dorchester, Milton, Brookline, and Jamaica Plain at the following places to play together.
Check out my List of Songs & Song Sheets to begin with. Please join us for free rehearsals on Wednesdays — and if you’d like to learn how to play these songs, I’m giving a one-hour workshop from 6 to 7 pm on Wednesday June 12th, 2019 and June 19th, 2019 all at the Walter Baker Building 1231 Adams Street.
Free to join us in performing outdoors — and FREE to attend also. Invite your friends and family. I will be at all events/locations except for June 8th when I will be in Seattle (workshop & jam session).
What is a porchfest? It’s a neighbourhood gathering, matching venues to performers and vice versa. Free to perform and free to attend. Outdoors on porches and lawns in a walkable area of town. In and around Boston, there are porchfests nearly every weekend in Somerville, Newton, Brookline, Arlington, Quincy, Jamaica Plain, and Milton.

Brookline Porchfest – 51 Naples Road. Arrive by 2 pm to go over songs (I will not be there but I’ve sent the song list to Judy Chasin).

Eustis Estate, Milton, MA — MAKE MUSIC BOSTON, a Boston-wide mega porchfest.
RSVP meet-up. Boston Guitar Orchestra’s elite force (quartets) will begin at 6:30 pm.

Standish Village. Arrive by 6 pm to set-up. We’ll go for a meal nearby afterwards.
