Wednesday July 10th, 2019 Goodbye Party at Adams St. Library. FREE
I will be leading a singalong, together with other ukulele players at Adams Street Branch of the Boston Public Library, which will close for a complete rebuilt that may take up to two years. This is the library that procured new ukuleles and guitars for loan to members and hired me to give me first ukulele course – 10 x 1-hour sessions to teenagers last April. Join us with your ukulele, voice, or both for songs for children and goodbye, including Tiny Bubbles. More info.
Thursday July 11th, 2019 String Quartet Concert @7 pm, Gilman Chapel, Cedar Grove Cemetery. $20
Thrice-Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco will give a concert in the the newly renovated Gilman Chapel in Dorchester. Their music is self-arranged, unique, and very exciting. It’s not your typical classical string quartet. Afterwards, I hope to get to know them at one of the gastropubs in Historic Lower Mills. Please join me. More info and video.

Sunday July 14th, 2019 Ukulele Vacation in the White Mountains, New Hampshire. Room & Board.
You can stay one day or the entire week. I will lead workshops on songs in other languages, including Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) and Mo Li Hua (Jasmine Flower). I’m looking for carpool, giving someone else a ride for the 2.5 hour drive up there. More info.

After the summer break, I will start teaching again in September, with all levels of ukulele workshops, courses, and rehearsals at Walter Baker Building (Wednesdays and Saturdays), Cambridge Center for Adult Education (Monday eves), Milton Adult Education (Tuesday eves), and Arlington Community Education (Thursday eves).
