Who remembers disco queens and rhinestone cowboys? The seventies was the era of ABBA – disco, rock, punk, and reggae. Recorded music became central to culture like never before. To cover all the favorites, we will devote two consecutive weeks to three chord songs of the seventies: Thursdays June 4 and June 11, 2020, from 3 to 4 pm EDT (as usual).
Register in advance via this LINK to get an e-mail with your unique ZOOM meeting ID and link. This is a way to request songs you’d like to lead. If you have already registered and attended previous Thursday sessions in May, you can use the same zoom meeting link.
There are simply too many wonderful three or FEW chorded songs in the seventies to list here from folk to country rock to disco. Bolded titles refer to transposable song sheets.
