3 Chord Thurs: VACATION

Join us on Thursday 29th July 2021 for a 3 Chord Thursday thematic song session of songs about taking a vacation or going on holiday. Some of these may overlap with other themes such as travel, to the beach, or on the water. The theme of next Thursday 5th August is songs without song sheets.

3 Chord Thursday is free for anyone anywhere in the world to join as participant, performer, or observer muted with webcam on or off. We aim to start promptly at 3 and end by 4 pm, but usually we run overtime, especially if all 10 song spots get filled.

Doors open at 2:30 pm EDT (7:30 pm BST, 11:30 am PDT, 8:30 am HST) for

• Newcomers to introduce themselves & their ukuleles, where they are located, how they found out about 3 Chord Thurs
• Performers to do sound and light checks, with face, hands, ukulele visible, enable original sound
• Participants to set up, direct message in chat box with others, greet & meet

3:00 pm EDT “mute all” – video recording starts
Note: If you prefer not to be seen in the video recording or if you expect to be away from your location (so it shows nobody there), please switch OFF your video or web cam. Your video or web cam may get switched off if you’re absent for a length of time.
