Going to Jen’s 9 AM exercise class in Zoom not only gets me out of bed every week day morning but also gets me fit. Besides cardio, weights, stretches, she gets us to do flexibility and balance training. Jen programs her music to the themes of 3 Chord Thursday so that we ukulele players can look forward to the next thematic song session. It’s comforting to see familiar faces at a time when the pandemic has cut off socialization and social activity.
I’d like to encourage more people to take Jen’s fitness classes in Zoom. How?
Jen Bross offers the first class for free. Thereafter it’s $5 per session. Each session starts at 9 am EST (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and runs for 45 minutes in Zoom. Contact Jen directly to take the first class.
Testimonials
I am so thrilled to have discovered Jen’s morning on-line exercise class. It’s so much better than going out to a gym, because you’re in your own home, and using your own equipment (weights, band and small ball). Jen is so experienced and mixes up the classes so we’re never doing the same routine. The music choices are terrific and always jive with the 3-Chord Thursday theme. We even do strengthening exercises for our fingers to improve our strength and flexibility on the uke! Do yourself a favor and try Jen’s class. Your body will thank you.
I have signed up for other online exercise programs in the past, but never seemed to find the time to do them regularly. Until Jennifer’s class!
I cannot fully explain why, but I have been attending her class regularly for over a year now, and have noticed substantial improvements in flexibility and stamina. I especially like her way of giving three levels of intensity so each participant can choose the most appropriate one. The music is great too, and sometimes I finish the lesson with a desire to learn the songs used!
Fun, useful, and motivating!
It has been more than a year since I, the avid exercise class avoider, began starting my day with Jen’s exercise class. I’ve increased from twice a week to being a Monday through Friday participant, consciously saving my mornings to include Jen’s musical workouts. I miss it on the rare days I simply cannot fit Jen’s class into my schedule.
Jen graciously greets each of us by name—and actively takes an interest in our progress, emailing helpful links about any personal health issues (back pain, osteo issues, diet) that we mention while checking in, or after class. Jen’s musical choices make the time fly. Speaking of music, Jen includes stretches that strengthen and increase this musician’s hands, arms, and fingers.
I feel stronger, I’m aware of improved balance, and I’m able to do this conveniently from Zoom, wherever I am.
