On Thursday 1st December 2022, we gather to play chords following a medley of famous waltzes. You can also request to perform a waltz via this Google Form. A waltz is a dance in 3/4 time. A waltz does not have to be traditional, it can be a pop song in 3/4 time. Check out the Spotify list to get inspiration and ideas. (Read about it HERE and the quest for waltzes of Carulli). See you before 3 pm EST to start on time with a warm-up lesson. If you have the new Zoom link, you will get the PDF to this waltz medley in advance to practice.
Get the new Zoom meeting link by subscribing to the remaining sessions in 2022 via the Autumn 2022 Registration Form. It’s $30 for any or all of the Thursday sessions. Everyone taking a paid music class with Anne Ku or has ordered two or more books will automatically receive the new Zoom link for access to 3 Chord Thursday which is a virtual stage.
All sessions will be livestreamed and recorded for review purposes. You can switch off your webcam if you don’t want to be seen. Subscribe to the YouTube Channel to get e-mail notification of the livesream recording. After the session ends, the livestream video will get UNLISTED. Only session participants and YouTube Channel subscribers will have the video link in their e-mails.
