Thursday 16 November 2023 is National Button Day. Let’s put our names on buttons (or name tags) and share songs about names, starting with your name! At the beginning of the pandemic, we hosted two sessions on girl’s and boy’s names. Check out the lists. Do you know a song about your name?
Dress code: something with visible buttons and/or a person’s name or names.
This will be a hybrid session. You can enter Zoom as usual or join me at a “pop up” chocolate shop in Inman Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts for this one-hour session. After hosting, I will stay afterwards to set-up an in-person evening session called “Fun with Uke & Wild Chocolate” which will make use of my 80-page song book of 24 well-known nursery rhymes, all arranged for high-G ukulele. Of course, you will be unable to resist the delicious dark chocolates and truffles made by the chocolatier at this shop.
