Arrangements for easy piano

I am organizing ALL my piano arrangements on one page so that I can categorize them for easier access. Here’s my YouTube Playlist of recordings of my piano arrangements by others who stumble upon my pieces online.

As I continue to arrange music for my piano students, I plan to eventually categorize my piano arrangements by themes and skill levels:

  1. very easy (both hands playing a single line of melody)
  2. easy
  3. not so easy
  4. not easy at all

I invite my students to request songs I’d consider arranging for them to play. They are motivated to learn even the most challenging pieces because of their interest and willpower. I’ve witnessed complete beginners tackling music from Japanese anime films, video games, and the latest pop hits. With sheer determination and persistence, they perform what is clearly NOT easy piano arrangements at end-of-term recitals to jaw-dropping audiences.

When I get requests from anyone who has not studied with me, my response is usually, “Take a group class from me.” I customize my classes and arrangements for the participants.

Besides pop songs and classical music, I have composed exercises to help them play the scales, harmonize to major scales, inspire creativity in making variations and improvisations, in Piano Harmonisation and Sightreading Piano Classes.
