Fun with Uke 2024

The festive edition of “Fun with Uke” was released at the 2024 Concert Series in Watertown, Massachusetts. The ukulele concert scheduled for Wednesday 24th July 2024 at 6:30 PM EDT (until 8:00 PM) welcomed each family to obtain gratis one copy of the 20-page spiral-bound book (first come first serve basis), until all 30 copies gone. Crayons (for coloring) and more than a dozen loaner ukuleles were available for use during the free outdoor concert.

Fun with Ukulele is an interactive outdoor concert and workshop given by three ukulele instructors from 6:30 to 8:00 PM EDT.

  • Anne Ku, author of “Fun with Uke” Festive Edition 2024, teaches ukulele and piano.
  • Andrea Gaudette, author of ukulele books, teaches music in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
  • Paul Sedgwick, a playwright based in Jamaica Plain, plays and teaches the banjo and ukulele.
The festive edition is a compilation of eight of the easiest tunes from the original edition
The songs are ordered progressively by chord and difficulty, suitable for the complete beginner.

Each song is illustrated for coloring, with lyrics, chords, and notation / tablature.
Some tunes are used for more than one song. The last song introduces a duet on the ukulele.
The most useful page is the last one (on the inside back cover) – a look-up table of chords.
