Music, Meal, Movie, Show or Concert

Because it’s a big deal to get together in-person these days (after the pandemic), why not add music making, sharing a meal together before or after the “event” ? The social inertia required to make something happen translates to doing more than we normally do – making the most of going out. Make music, share a meal, watch a movie or show or concert TOGETHER.

Masters of Hawaiian Music on tour 2025

Previously, we have gotten together in a printmaker’s studio to read new music for the ukulele before Korean dinner and Taimane’s concert in Needham, Massachusetts, for Jake Shimabukuro’s in Rockport (video), and for a community lighting event in Boston (video).

We will now do again this Friday 2/28/2025 in Cambridge, MA.  We had also gotten together just to read music and share an authentic lunch in Quincy.

The next occasion for music, meal & show will be Friday April 11th for Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain at Jordan Hall in Boston.

If you are going to George Kahumoku Jr’s show this Friday 28th February 2025, read on.
