Walk With Fingers for high G ukulele

Alternating the index and middle fingers to “walk” the strings prevents repetitive strain and produces a better sound than using the same single finger repetitively. It’s also possible to “walk” the index and middle fingers on the fretboard when alternating strings on the same fret. I wrote a short piece making use of this principle to walk with fingers.

I am naming the titles of the first book (level 1) of “Pick! Pluck! Play” after action verbs.

The new book “Pick! Pluck! Play!” Level 1 is intended for beginners to learn to fingerpick. I am also working on Level 2 for intermediate players.

The last page “Ukulele Chords” contains a table of ukulele chord diagrams ordered alphabetically for the chords used in the book.

I’m thrilled about releasing this book as a precursor (prerequisite) to the 12 Chinese Zodiac Suite, which contains three skill levels.
